We’re looking for a Data Scientist to join us on-site and spearhead the development of cutting-edge detection algorithms for AI-generated images and videos. This role demands someone who can rapidly prototype from research papers, implement novel techniques with creative optimisations, and deliver lightweight models that maintain high accuracy in production environments.
What You’ll Do
As a core member of our AI research team, you’ll be at the forefront of generative AI detection technology. You’ll translate breakthrough scientific publications into working prototypes within days, not months. Key Responsibilities:
- Rapidly implement and validate detection algorithms from recent scientific literature
- Design and execute experiments to benchmark detection performance across various generative models (GANs, diffusion models, video synthesis networks)
- Develop novel model compression techniques, pruning strategies, and architectural modifications to create lightweight variants
- Engineer creative preprocessing and feature extraction methods that improve detection while reducing computational overhead

Core Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or related field with strong mathematical foundations
- Proven track record of implementing complex ML models from research papers (with examples of your work)
- Expert-level Python skills with deep knowledge of PyTorch/TensorFlow, NumPy, and scientific computing libraries
- Experience with model optimization techniques: quantization, pruning, knowledge distillation, and efficient architectures
- Strong background in computer vision, particularly in image/video analysis and deep learning
- Ability to quickly prototype, iterate, and benchmark different approaches under tight deadlines
- Experience with GPU programming (CUDA) and performance profiling tools

What You’ll Do
